Every corp has a system of investment. Some are basic… some are complex. 404 Industries call it “Investment blocks”… and after a quick read I’m sure you will notice how simple ours is.
Investment blocks provide members with an opportunity to invest in large projects via blocks of $1mil isk at a time… hence the name ‘Investment Blocks’.
Each project has set number of ‘blocks’… roughly the amount needed to complete the project. The blocks are then offered up to the members. Once all sold; the project goes ahead and the item gets built.
The item is then sold and the proceeds split amongst the investors in the same ratio as members held blocks in a project.
In each project, the BP being used is normally replaced from the proceeds and is considered a part of the project cost.
